FAQs
Who am I?
Not everything needs an explanation. But if you’re wondering who’s behind this brand—here it is.
My name’s Peter. I just turned 50. I’m a pressure washer by trade. I've been sober since April 17, 2020.
People get sober for different reasons.
They all matter.
For me, there wasn’t much choice. I had to be medically detoxed from a life of alcohol & substance abuse. There was no way around it for me. It took months and months to shake the fog, and then I had to relearn how to live sober.
This brand started with two things I care about: Cool t-shirts… and staying sober.
I’m not exactly a computer guy, so building this whole store was a bit of a stretch for me. But it mattered enough to learn.
These days, my life is about showing up different. Doing the work. Staying clear. Staying honest.
Some days are solid. Some aren’t.
But I don’t quit anymore.
These shirts are simple—but they mean something.
If they hit, you’ll get it.
And if you choose to support this, just know— I appreciate it. A lot.
What’s this brand about?
It ain’t easy.
Life gets messy, loud, and heavy sometimes.
This is about choosing clarity anyway.
Showing up. Staying sober. Staying real.
No fluff. No excuses. No bullshit.
Just honest effort—every day.
How does It Ain't Easy Street donate?
Short answer: quietly, and for real.
This isn’t a big company with a foundation or a polished charity partnership. It’s just me. And giving back isn’t something I started for this brand—it’s something I’ve always done.
There’s no official program, no tax receipts, and no cameras rolling. But whether you buy a shirt or not, a portion of what I make—here and in life—goes right back out. Sometimes it’s the guy on the street corner. Sometimes it’s someone in a parking lot who just needs a hand. Sometimes it’s something else entirely.
No posts. No proof. Just doing it.
If you know me, you know this isn’t new. I’ve given when I had nothing, and I’ve given more when I had more. That doesn’t change.
You don’t have to take my word for it—but that’s all I’ve got to offer.
What does “Clarity over Chaos” mean?
It means we sit with it.
We face it.
We deal with what's real.
We don’t let chaos run the show anymore.
Even when it’s uncomfortable (especially when it's uncomfortable).
Wear it as a reminder.
What kind of shirts are these?
Sot, comfortable, everyday shirts.
Bella + Canvas—good quality, nothing overdone.
Clean designs with meaning behind them. Stuff I actually wear. Stuff I think others might want to wear too.
How do the shirts fit?
True to size for most people; more form fitting than boxy.
If you like a looser fit → size up
If you like a tighter fit → stay true
Between sizes → go up
Be sure to check the measurements.
Each design has multiple colors and sizes.
How long does shipping take?
Everything is made to order.
- 3 to 7 business days to produce
- Then shipping time depends on your location
You’ll get tracking once it ships.
Typically 1 to 2 weeks to your door.
Can I return or exchange?
If something shows up damaged or wrong, I'll fix it.
Everything is made to order, so I don't offer returns or exchanges for sizing or change of mind.
Take a second before ordering—make sure it's right.
Do you ship everywhere?
Most places, yes.
If there’s an issue with your location, you’ll know at checkout.
Who is this for?
People trying.
People who don’t have it all figured out.
People who are choosing better—even when it’s hard.
And if it's not for you, maybe it's for someone in your life who needs it.
Sometimes a shirt is just a shirt.
Sometimes it says, "I see you."
